Get Motivated!
We know a lot about the special-interest politics of the Republican State Rep candidates running for re-election in our district this year. Their voting records speak for themselves. Please don't let these guys get back in the State House!
Strafford Republican Rep. Kurt Wuelper's primary focus is restricting abortion rights. He is the past president of NH Right to Life and was endorsed by the NH Right to Life PAC in 2020. Wuelper supports using public taxpayer funds to support religious and charter schools and has sponsored legislation on this issue.
Strafford Republican Rep. Michael Harrington has primarily sponsored anti-income tax and energy-related legislation. He has been endorsed by Americans for Prosperity, a libertarian-conservative political advocacy group funded by the Koch brothers.
Barrington Republican Rep. Len Turcotte has a history of voting to support abortion restrictions. He has voted to keep all laws that allow children to marry. He even wanted to keep the marriage age at 13 for girls/14 for boys. He has also voted for using conversion therapy on minors. Turcotte advocates for right-to-work legislation and was influential on the redistricting committee that saddled NH with gerrymandered maps that favor Republicans.
